LOVO bar hongdae

This lofty-industrial looking bar has such a great look, it's actually been mentioned in the design magazine Wallpaper. Lovo is an basement bar, but the ceilings are really high, giving the place a feeling of space. The bar is right at the entrance of the medium-sized rectangular space. The walls are made with concrete blocks and there is a mezzanine area which is separated by black steel beams. The back wall has a large bleached wood shelf stacked with bottles. The seating area in the middle has chic and comfy leather couches and there are small tables off to the side.The owner of this place is a graphic design graduate from Hongdae. This place has always been patronised his friends who are artists and hipsters. The crowd is trendy but somehow the place always seems a little too mellow and quiet.
