This restaurant at the top of the new Avenue L mall next to the Lotte dept store, is the sister restaurant of the popular Anna Bini restaurant in Apkujong. The food is fresh and tasty and the extensive menu offers many different pastas and main courses to choose from. The menu is very similar to Anna Bini. There are starters such as tomato mozarella salad, grilled mushrooms, and soups. For the main courses, you can have pastas with carbonara, marinara and seafood cream sauces. There are also more substantial main courses like seafood risotto, chicken diavola and beef tenderloin. Andrea has big French doors with heavy drapes that open out onto a lovely outdoor terrace. At lunchtime, the place is flooded with light. It’s a good place to come for lunch if you work in the city hall area. The night time atmosphere is a bit strange. The place feels like there’s missing something due to the high ceilings and large undivided open space. It feels unfinished, like it needs big paintings to cover the bare walls. In my opinion, they need to do something to section off the big main dining room so it looks more inviting and intimate.
