Baedongbaji
Baedongbaji is a quaint restaurant that guarantees you a royal Korean feast in a charming traditional setting. The restaurant is in a cute traditional house complete with wood-beamed ceilings, Korean antiques, hanji paper menus and beautiful brass dishes. There are several private rooms in addition to the main dining area upstairs.
Choosing your meal is easy because there are only 3 set menus to choose from. There are no a la carte choices, so come with your appetite. You need at least two people to order a set menu. The food is refined, fresh, tasty and copious! One of my favorite things on the menu is Gu Jeol Pan, a fine crepe which is filled with crispy veggies, meat egg. Baedong Baji is near Anguk Station. There are no menus in English, but that deosn't stop expats from frequenting the place. $$$ (27-3 Samcheong dong, Jongro-Gu)02- 777-9696, 02-702-9644
